The short version
We collect only what you send us to book a shoot — your name, contact info, and what you're picturing. No ad trackers, no selling data, no newsletters, no AI training. Questions or requests: winwayfamily@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Booking & contact forms. When you submit a form on this site, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (partnership inquiries), the service you're interested in, preferred dates, budget range (partnership inquiries), and anything you write in the message field. Forms are processed by our hosting provider, Netlify.
Scheduling (Calendly). The mini-session booking calendar is provided by Calendly. When you book a time, Calendly collects your name, email, and appointment details under its own privacy policy, and may set cookies inside the embedded calendar.
Payments (Venmo). Deposits and balances are paid through Venmo. We never see or store your payment credentials — Venmo processes payments under its own privacy policy. We see only your Venmo username, the amount, and the payment note.
Email. If you email us directly, we keep the correspondence.
Automatically collected information. This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or first-party cookies. Netlify automatically processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and prevent abuse.
How we use your information
Only to respond to your inquiry, schedule and deliver your session or project, send you your gallery, process deposits and payments, and keep basic business records (invoices, taxes). We do not send marketing emails or newsletters, and we do not use your information to train AI models.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not run targeted advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with the vendors needed to run the studio: Netlify (website hosting and form processing), Calendly (scheduling), Venmo/PayPal (payments), Google (email), and our photo gallery delivery service. Each processes data on our behalf or under its own posted privacy policy.
Children
Our website forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 — parents and guardians provide any information about children when booking a session. Photographs of clients, including children, are used publicly (in our portfolio or on social media) only with signed permission through our photo release.
Your rights
If you are a Connecticut resident (or a resident of another state with a consumer privacy law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of sales or targeted advertising (which we don't do). To exercise any of these rights, email winwayfamily@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request." We'll confirm receipt and respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact the Connecticut Attorney General if you're unsatisfied with the outcome.
Data retention & security
We keep inquiry and booking information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and tax record-keeping obligations, then delete it. Data lives in the professional services listed above, protected by their security controls, with access limited to Justin.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you and give you an opportunity to withdraw consent before applying changes retroactively.
